Principal Verification Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Verification Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the verification efforts for our Quantum SoC devices, ensuring thorough coverage of functional requirements, and driving the development of a suitable verification methodology.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verification Planning: Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, and quantum teams to develop comprehensive verification plans, defining verification strategies, goals, and methodologies to ensure thorough coverage of functional requirements.

  • Methodology Development: Construct a suitable verification methodology for quantum SoC devices, using standard and custom verification methodologies, AI initiatives, tools, and best practices. The methodology will need to evolve in parallel with quantum SoC solutions.

  • Design and implement Quantum SoC Verification environments and testbenches using industry-standard methodologies.

  • Create, execute and maintain directed testcases and libraries to verify the functionality, performance, and robustness of Quantum SoC designs.

  • Identify, isolate, and debug issues found during verification, leveraging simulation and debugging tools to root-cause failures and drive resolution with development and architecture teams.

  • Demonstrate technical leadership driving projects from start to the finish, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior verification engineers, and building up an efficient verification team.

  • Generate clear and concise documentation, reports, and regular presentations to communicate verification results, status, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • At least 12 years of experience in SoC verification, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Expertise in verification planning, methodology development, testbench development, and testcase development.

  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM and SystemVerilog.

  • Experience with quantum computing and related technologies is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with emulation and system simulation models is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with post-silicon validation and feedback loops is a plus.

If you are a highly motivated and experienced SoC verification engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
